Posted by Keslyn Hart on

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) is a highly regarded nonprofit dedicated to battling breast cancer. Established in 1993, it focuses on funding groundbreaking research to prevent and cure this prevalent disease.

Breast cancer is a pervasive health issue, affecting millions of women worldwide. Approximately 2.3 million new cases are diagnosed each year and it is the most common type of cancer diagnosed in women. BCRF's commitment to scientific advancement offers hope in this fight against a disease that disproportionately affects womenBy uniting the brightest minds in the field, the foundation strives to improve prevention, early detection, treatment, and, ultimately, the eradication of breast cancer. Remarkably, 91 cents of every dollar donated directly supports research and awareness programs. To date, BCRF has raised over $800 million and awarded more than 12,000 research grants, significantly contributing to breast cancer knowledge. Donations to BCRF fuel innovative research that brings us closer to a world where breast cancer is no longer a threat to women's lives.
